Okay, so it's been a few days and I haven't managed to write another posting until now. This blogging thing isn't going very well at this point. Not only did I forget the password for my blog, I also forgot the password for the new email address I made for use with the blog. It was an ordeal to get one password reset sent to another email address in order to get into the new email to reset the password for the blog. Passwords are now reset, and I think I can remember them this time.
One of my blogging concerns is privacy, as in, how much do I share? My favorite blogs include first names, last names, and exactly where people live with lots of pictures of the entire family. Others don't mention any names, or use nicknames of some sort. One blogger refers to her children as Nugget, Small Fry, and Flurry, with her husband being Big Mac. I'm not sure how much I'm ready to share. I've shared my name, part of it anyway, but have only put initials for the rest of the family. I may give them pseudonyms at some point, or may decide that I'm ready to share their real names. We shall see.
I haven't attempted adding pictures yet, or messing around with the layout of the blog as I'm not sure how long this will last. :)
Hi Kell. Thanks for commenting on my blog. I am amazed almost daily at how many people ALS has touched in some way or another. It is comforting to "meet" you as a daughter of someone with ALS. I look forward to following your blog. I know what you mean about the privacy stuff. The blog has been a blessing for us to stay in touch with family on almost a daily basis when we always don't make the time to call;)
